Tasks tasks tasks and Dato Tasks

I have been working on some bug fixes and task functionality upgrades:

  • Fixed click events in froyo for some users
  • Made all day events respect the all day event highlight color
  • Made top row as date header respect left padding of row header
  • Potentially fixed uber button problem where you would open settings, click home and click uber button it would bring up settings straight away
  • Scrolling - Icon view now respects one date per day option
  • Scrolling - Views not respect "Show calendar calendar" option - don't respect dependent padding option yet
  • Attempted to resolve backup refresh problem
  • Made tasks with no deadline show at bottom, made tasks that are overdue still show the correct date
  • Added preference for no deadline tasks to show at the bottom of the event window

 
Please test out the dev version http://www.everybodyallthetime.com/content/apps/agenda-widget/development and pop a comment if I have/haven't broken anything :)
On a side note, Dato GTask implementation is done, just disabled until 0.4 is released!

 They will get pushed to the bottom of the list (e.g. below the events). Is it possible there is too many events and hence the tasks are pushed off the screen?

I mistook "bottom" to be defined as bottom of the screen, rather than bottom of the list. With my calendars activated it fills up the list and then some.

Tasks not showing...

I've checked this on every theme, but the tasks do not show when I check the 'No date at bottom' option.

Which task application are you using? They all work ok on my phone... ?Have you go "show no deadline tasks" ticked?

It's the Dato Tasks application... yes "show no deadline tasks" is checked. I've tested this and it boils down to the bottom option, when i have that checked, the tasks disappear, when it's unchecked, they reappear, but at the top.

Astrid 3 beta

Just wanted to let you know that there's an Astrid 3 beta out, and unfortunately it seems that Android Agenda Widget Plus doesn't work with it.  I haven't been able to get tasks from it updated or synchronized on the Agenda.
