Scrolling time!

Exciting news!

I've implemented a beta of Android Agenda Widget with scrolling! At the moment I've only tested it with ADW, and its far from complete, but the impatient ones out there (like me!) can start using it right now!

Known issues/things todo:

  • When you adjust settings that refresh/reload the layout (e.g. changes themes) the scrolling list doesn't show. Workaround: Turn the phone landscape and back and it will re attach the widget to the homescreen
  • Formatting/preferences such as current event highlight etc don't apply as I haven't implmented it  Half done, still need to do skin and highlight colors
  • The only row style that works is Inline. I'm still implementing the rest! Inline and Icon implemented
  • Can only see 25 events - will add apreference for this
  • Tasks cause the scroller to hide

Plus branch FCs on my G1 flashed with CM5.0.8-DS, free works fine.
 
I found a few formatting errors. Let me know how you prefer your bug reports :)

HTC Sense?

Please consider adding support for scrolling in HTC Sense, if possible. Most of the standard HTC Widgets support scrolling (including the HTC Calendar widget (in Agenda mode).

Unfortunatly I wouldn't hold my breath on this one. HTC haven't released any information on how their scrolling is done, so short of trying to guess I can't really do much
