As Android Agenda Widget is always evolving I keep a dev version available for those who like to be on the bleeding edge. If you grab it, please provide some feedback!
Dev version:
Fixed more day/date/time display issues
added "time color" preference
added "date color" preference
attempted to fix calendar list activity force close
added touch calendar click actions
added times to astrid events
fixed bug with row background transparency
added preference to refresh when an event ends
added preferences to have difference shapes for calendar colors
added preference for date color which will modify the text color of row header and date
added Got To Do support
added Google Task Organizer support
fixed Google Task Organizer/Got to Do choice add clicks
fixed inline multi day event formatting (for all day events, not multi day with times yet)
fixed calendar pad (pro?) click actions
added preference for up to 100 scrolling rows
added new white skins
Both branches have the same code!
Download the one you are currently using to avoid double the widgets in your widget picker!
Its also not a bad idea to save your settings before installing a dev version just in case something goes awry! (Settings->tools->export settings)
Using a Droid X with Froyo and am using the dev version 1.5.0.
I have enabled Got To Do within Agenda Widget and my tasks are not showing up. Do I need to do anything in Got To Do?
No tasks are showing up, even ones with deadlines in the next couple of days.
There was an update a day or so ago but only bug fixes. 1.3 is supposed to be coming which will migrate to ToodleDo v2 API

I am mostly happy with the current functionality. The main thing for my needs that seems to be missing is a button which would launch a date picker and then refresh the widget starting from that date. Perhaps that button could then change so that a short press would return to today, while a long press would summon the date picker again. What do you think?
If you do that, it would be great if the "add" button would then default to the current starting date for the new event to be created.
Just as a frame of reference, I am coming from Palm OS, where on my Tungsten C I used to use (a customized version of) "Hot Date". I guess I added the "add" button myself in place of the phone book icon.

I am new to this app, so I may just be confused on how to do a few things. Mainly I am attempting to have my tasks as well as events from my google calendar show up on my home page. After inserting an event into the google calendar, it shows up perfectly on my Agenda Widget homepage. However, when I add a task to the google calendar, it does not appear on the Agenda Widget homepage. I did see that I can sync the Agenda Widget to another task app, such as Astrid Tasks, and those tasks automatically sync. However I am trying to find a central area to where I can load events and tasks in the same place and have it automatically load into the Agenda Widget. I would especially like it if that central place was my google calendar. Thanks in advance!
The best you can do is use an application that syncs with "Google tasks" as the calendar entries are treated differently than tasks.
One of my users was using google tasks in his computer browser and sharing it as a tasks calendar, however this will be limited when used with Android Agenda Widget. I recommend trying Dato GTasks in combinations with the Google tasks function of gmail! :)

Hey theFatRat,
I just uploaded a new version, but your version should still be ok!
Go to settings->Calendars/Tasks and tick "Override calendar click", try "Google" and if that doesn't work, try "Google 2.2".

I just installed 1.3.5 branch of the upcoming features version. I'm running Cyanogen 6 on a Sprint Hero (2.2).
I am changing UI settings and it is not making the changes on the widget. Had to remove and re-add the widget to take effect. Worked after that.
Also, Astrid 3 add task works, but 'show calendar' form uber menu still broken.
Is it possible to add two widgets showing different calendars? I have not been able to get this to work.

Are you using the development version (from this page), it should fix the problem...
I will see if the phone wake sends a broadcast that I can tap in to, though I'm not sure if it is a good idea as it could slow down the wake process.
Hello,
I'm using this application since one month on a HTC Desire.
I can't get refresh working. Sometimes, while connected to the PC, it refreshes.
But very rarely.
I tryed to setup the Refresh Time to 1 and 2 minutes. No improvement.
I tested the 4 x 2 and 4 x 3 widget and got the same behavior.
Maybe it would also be interesting to add the automatic refresh when the phone wakes up.

Requires paid version of Got To Do
I just checked with the Got To Do developer, you need the paid version otherwise the content provider won't be available.
You shouldn't have to do
You shouldn't have to do anything. Is it possible the tasks are ones without a deadline and are being pushed to the bottom of (and off) the widget?
I heard there is a big update to got to do coming, has that happened?
no big update yet
