  • Editing all day events loads the following day in the event editor - Fixed in unstable dev version, related to HTC phones. email me for link

Any comments?

Another gTasks integration

Hey,
first of all: thanks for your amazing widget! IMHO it blows all the others out of the water.
But I have one humble request: since there is a new (better) gTasks app available it would be great if that one was included in the widget, too ... the URL for the new one is http://www.appbrain.com/app/org.dayup.gtask and the UI is way better than SSI gTasks' and it is completely free. I am in no way involved in the development of this app so I can't answer if an integration is pssible but it would be amazing!
Thanks again for your widget and the time you sacrifice for the android community!

Thanks for the feedback! I

Thanks for the feedback! I just emailed the GTask developer, if he doesn't reply I will try and do it the hard way. Eitherway, I'm onto it

Look Behind

Love the widget and particularly the look behind option -- it's great to keep a little context for when I'm running behind schedule. The only problem is my calendar has tons of entries. So if I show all entries since midnight, then by 2 or 3pm, my whole widget is filled with entries from the past and I can't see the current and future events. Would it be possible to add a shorter option (3 or 6 hours) or, even better, limit the look behind by number of entries (at most X entries going back Y hours, etc). Thanks!

I think I could do a "number

I think I could do a "number of events" look behind. I've added it to my issues tracker.
Thanks for the feedback

Fantastic

The SSI gTasks support is very welcome. Now I only wish we can have an option to select which task list(s) to display in the widget, and the agenda widget would be absolutely perfect.

Thanks for the feedback, I

Thanks for the feedback, I will be adding this functionality soon!

Cannot see all my calendars

Hi,
your widget is great. Now that the PLUS version exists, I am willing to buy it to help development, but I have a problem: in Choose Calendars it only shows 5 calendars, but I have more in Google Calendar (and they appear without any problem on gCal).
Is there any way to add more calendars to the widget?

Do the Google calendars show

Do the Google calendars show up in your phone calendars?
If not then they aren't set to sync, one way to try and force this is to go to the browser version and gCal and make sure they are being shown. I am actually working on something which may help to remedy the problem, I'll keep you updated of its progress.
Thanks for your support!

Widget

 Great App !!!
So I can choose now between a calendar widget and task widget.
I would like to have both  widgets on my screen, is that possible?

You can do this! Add a new

You can do this!
Add a new widget to the same homescreen and access the settings for this new widget.
In the settings untick "Global preferences" and go to Manage Calendars. Tick "Widget Calendars independant" and tick your task provider! The new widget should now only show tasks (as there are no calendars selected for it) and because you made it have seperate preferences, the other widgets won't show tasks.

 Unfortunately this does not

Unfortunately this does not work for me.
Got 2 widgets on 1 screen, and they show the same, even when "Widget Calendars independant"  ticked.

Edit:
I am on CM 508, got SSIgTask app with widget on another screen...

Edit2:
Yes, go it, played with Global Preferences!! Thanx!!

Ah, great! Glad its working

Ah, great!
Glad its working :)

Interesting, I will test it

Interesting, I will test it out to make sure it isn't broken

Bug

 Yes, please test it.
I upgraded my launcher and had to redo my 2 widgets again...
The imported backups only work for each of them. (gTask or Calendar)
After 40 min of trying, reboots, etc., the app accepted the 2 different widgets again.
So although I knew what I had to do, it did not work immediatelly.
So for someone who hasn´t try that before, he would definitely give up.
Fix it
All on Nexus One, CM 508.
